The role involves contributing to feature development, bug fixes, testing, and service monitoring, while gaining hands-on exposure to scalable Java-based systems. This role is ideal for candidates eager to build strong engineering fundamentals in a fast-paced product environment.
Role & Responsibilities will be :
- Support the product and engineering teams in developing new features, fixing bugs, and optimizing backend services and workflows.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code under guidance.
- Work with REST APIs and web services, and participate in debugging, testing, and troubleshooting activities and should be able to use AI tools to perform.
- Follow coding standards, best practices, and design guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and technical solutions.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools such as Codex, Claude Opus, and similar platforms as part of the development workflow.
Knowledge & Skills required:
- Good knowledge of Java
- Basic understanding of Spring Framework, Maven, REST APIs, web services, RDBMS/MySQL,
- Testing concepts and methodologies, and basic web development concepts
- Debugging, Basic JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tools, comfort using modern AI-assisted coding tools
