Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Delhi, India. The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support workflow modernization and automation initiatives, often on platforms such as ServiceNow and related enterprise technologies. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and scalable code; participating in code reviews; troubleshooting and resolving technical issues; and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product managers, architects, and QA engineers. The role involves working with back-end services and integrations, implementing best practices in software engineering, and contributing to technical documentation. The Software Engineer is expected to stay current with emerging technologies, follow secure coding standards, and actively participate in agile ceremonies and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integration.
- Solid understanding and practical application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and patterns.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, version control systems (e.g., Git), and development tools.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and unit/integration testing frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience with ServiceNow, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), or enterprise workflow automation is an advantage.
