Power BI Developer - Job Description

( Remote – need to work with client, 12 noon to 10 to 11 PM )

Experience: 4-6 Years

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Power BI Developer with 4-6 years of hands-on

development experience in Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, Reporting, and Analytics

solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI, SQL, Azure

Data Factory (ADF), DAX, Power Query, and Paginated Reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Create executive dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and analytical reports.
• Develop reusable semantic models, datasets, and reporting solutions.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and Power BI workspace security.
• Optimize report performance through efficient DAX development and model tuning.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Design and develop Paginated Reports using Power BI Report Builder.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Mandatory Requirement

This position is strictly for development-focused professionals.

Candidates must have substantial hands-on experience in Power BI Dashboard Development, Data

Modeling, DAX Development, Azure Data Factory Pipeline Development, SQL Development, and

Paginated Reports Development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate
• DP-203: Azure Data Engineer Associate
