Software Engineer in Test

Location: Bengaluru, 5 days/week

Experience: 5-7 years

Major skills required: Javascript/Playwright, Apium, Selenium, Good coding skills, Automation Testing, Manual testing, strong communication skills

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong coding skills in JavaScript or Playwright.
• Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Appium.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks, CI/CD processes, and version control tools like Git.
• Use of tools like Jira, TestRail, Trello for tracking.
• 5+ years of experience in similar QA roles.
• Great communication and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and automate test cases for web, mobile, and APIs.
• Understand user stories and requirements to ensure proper testing coverage.
• Work closely with developers and product owners to build strong testing strategies.
• Track and report bugs, along with performing root cause analysis.
• Take ownership of testing and push for high-quality, stable releases.

Role Summary:

You'll be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products - web, mobile, and API-based applications. The focus is on automated testing, collaborating with developers and product teams, and ensuring that the final release is bug-free and high-performing.
