Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SDET (Automation) to ensure high product quality through robust test automation. The role involves building scalable automation frameworks, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating closely with QA and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web and mobile web using Java, Selenium, and Appium
- Convert manual test cases into automated scripts for regression and functional testing
- Execute automated test suites, analyze failures, and debug issues
- Implement cross-browser and cross-platform test coverage
- Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
- Log, track, and report defects using tools like JIRA
- Collaborate with QA, product, and engineering teams to improve test strategies
- Maintain test data, environments, and automation assets
Must-Have Skills
- Strong programming experience in Java
- Hands-on expertise with Selenium (web) and Appium (mobile)
- Experience building automation frameworks using TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
- Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Good-to-Have
- Experience with BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar cloud testing tools
- Mobile browser automation experience
- Exposure to performance or API testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation
