We are actively looking for a Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with strong Python automation skills and hands-on 7+ years of experience in data-centric testing. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working closely with backend systems, large datasets, and modern data platforms.

Role Overview

As a Senior SDET, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust automation solutions, validating large-scale data, and ensuring end-to-end quality across backend and data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Python
• Perform data validation and testing using Pandas, PySpark, and DataFrames
• Automate testing for data pipelines, ETL processes, and backend systems
• Analyze large datasets to identify data quality issues and inconsistencies
• Collaborate closely with development and data engineering teams
• Execute automation suites and provide clear defect reports with root-cause analysis
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and comprehensive test coverage

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Python automation
• Expertise in Pandas, PySpark, and DataFrames
• Solid experience in data testing / data validation
• Good understanding of backend systems and APIs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Nice to Have

• Backend automation testing experience using Python
• Exposure to ETL testing, data pipelines, or big data platforms
• Working knowledge of SQL and large-scale data environments
