Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Software Engineer in Test remote job, with flexibility for occasional on-prem work. The role involves designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks, collaborating with the development team to understand software requirements, and creating test cases to ensure software quality. Additional responsibilities include identifying defects, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to the overall product development lifecycle to ensure high-quality deliveries.

• Programming: Strong coding skills in Java, Python, C#, or similar.
• Testing Tools: Experience with Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, or RestAssured.
• Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, and DevOps knowledge.
• Systems: SQL, API testing (Postman/RestAssured), and containerization (Docker).

. Test: Regular testing for component, features, services etc. Plan and test for upcoming features

. Various test cases: test case for smoke test, verification test, component test, feature test, stress test, performance test etc.

·      Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools using languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.

·      Test Script Creation: Write, execute, and debug automated test scripts for functional, non-functional, and regression testing.

·      CI/CD Integration:

 Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to ensure continuous testing and fast feedback loops.

·      Collaboration: Work with software developers to understand code changes, review technical designs, and identify edge cases.

·      Tool Selection: Evaluate and recommend new testing technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency.

·      Bug Management: Identify, log, and troubleshoot software defects, including debugging automated test failures.

·      Performance & Security Testing: Perform load, stress, and security tests to ensure application scalability and stability
