Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is an engineering discipline that combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems. SRE ensures that Google's servicesboth our internally critical and our externally-visible systemshave reliability and uptime appropriate to users needs and a fast rate of improvement while keeping an ever-watchful eye on capacity and performance.

Responsibilities
- Optimize the complete service life-cycle, encompassing inception, design, development, operation, and continual refinement.
- Collaborate with partner teams to proactively identify risks within corporate systems and develop solutions that simplify or mitigate adverse impacts on productivity or business processes.
- Support services pre-launch through system design consultation, software framework development, capacity planning, and formal launch reviews.
- Contribute to the sustained development of services, ensuring high reliability and efficiency while systematically minimizing operational toil. Maintain live services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health metrics.
- Implement sustainable incident response procedures to ensure services consistently meet defined Service Level Objectives (SLOs). Leverage emerging technologies, such as AI and Machine Learning, to automate and address traditional systems engineering issues.
