Software Engineer III
Job Description
Key Deliverables:
- Design and develop high-quality software, promoting re-use and ease of support
- Diagnose, isolate, and implement remedies for system failures due to software code errors
- Identify and implement process improvements in Engineering practices
- Conduct unit tests, track problems, and implement changes to meet functional/nonfunctional requirements
Role Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, and implement software mechanisms to improve stability, performance, and reusability
- Lead and participate in code review sessions
- Develop and improve test-driven development while producing software
- Create high-quality documentation (e.g., functional specifications, test plans, and integration test specs)
- Apply Agile principles and improve the tools used in development
