SOFTWARE ENGINEER III - IOS

Responsibilities

iOS Application Development

• Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift.
• Build modular, maintainable, and high-performance mobile applications.
• Implement UI/UX designs following Apple design guidelines and principles.
• Work with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, and related SDKs.

API Integration & Backend Connectivity

• Integrate iOS applications with REST APIs and GraphQL services.
• Work with microservices-based backend systems.
• Handle asynchronous programming and offline data synchronization.
• Implement push notifications and cloud messaging services.

Code Quality & Engineering Practices

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Fastlane.
• Ensure quality through unit testing and automation practices.

Performance & Optimization

• Optimize app performance, memory usage, and responsiveness.
• Debug and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Ensure smooth user experience at scale.

Collaboration & Agile Delivery

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, design, backend, QA).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
• Contribute to technical discussions and solution design.

Production & Lifecycle Management

• Participate in full iOS development lifecycle (planning → deployment).
• Manage App Store releases, TestFlight builds, and deployments.
• Support production monitoring and issue resolution.
