Job Title: Software Engineer (III) - Core Engineer III

Location: Chennai

Work Type: Hybrid (4 Days work From Office)

Position Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.
• 6+ years of software development experience designing, developing, and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions across the Sales and Customer Service modules to meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain client-side scripting (JavaScript) for form customizations, business logic, and enhanced user experience.
• Design, build, and deploy Plugins and Custom APIs to extend and automate Dynamics 365 functionality.
• Build and maintain Power Automate flows to streamline business processes and automate workflows across CRM and connected systems.
• Develop and support Canvas Apps (screens) and Custom Pages within the Power Platform to deliver tailored user experiences.
• Design and implement integrations between Dynamics 365 and external/third-party systems, ensuring reliable, secure, and performant data exchange.
• Support and contribute to Omnichannel for Customer Service configurations and enhancements (good to have).
• Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of system issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures; implement effective fixes and preventive measures.
• Participate in solution design discussions, providing technical recommendations aligned with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform best practices.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure solutions are delivered on time and meet quality standards. â
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration details, and support/troubleshooting guides.
• Ensure adherence to CRM development standards, security roles, and data governance practices.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience developing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, specifically Sales and Customer Service modules.
• Proven development experience with JavaScript, Plugins, and Custom APIs within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with the Power Platform, including Power Automate flows and Canvas App screens / Custom Pages.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing integrations between Dynamics 365 and external systems (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, third-party applications).
• Proficient in leveraging GitHub Copilot for AI-assisted coding and productivity gains.
  
  

Good To Have

• working knowledge of Omnichannel for Customer Service.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system, integration, and performance issues.
• Solid understanding of Dynamics 365 data model, security model, solution management (managed/unmanaged solutions), and ALM practices.
• Familiarity with Dataverse, Web API, and standard authentication mechanisms (OAuth, Azure AD App Registrations).
