We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer III with strong expertise in C++ and basic Python to join our team. The ideal candidate will work on developing and maintaining scalable systems, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with global teams in a Windows-based environment.
What You'll Do
- Maintain, enhance, and resolve issues in existing C++ and Python components.
- Design and develop new features, performance improvements, and refactor existing systems.
- Perform peer code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members on best coding and design practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment using Jira.
- Follow test-driven development and ensure high-quality, well-tested code delivery.
- Work on database-related development tasks involving SQL and PostgreSQL.
- Participate in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Create and review technical documentation, test cases, and deployment procedures.
- Estimate effort for assigned tasks, track progress, and communicate effectively in daily standups and sprint reviews.
- Coordinate with global teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of features across components.
What We're Looking For
Required Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 34 years of total experience in software development, with strong expertise in C++ and basic Python.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns. Proficiency with SQL and PostgreSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience working in Windows environments.
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions).
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a distributed team setup.
- Self-driven and organized, capable of prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Desired Skills
- Experience integrating C++ components with Python.
- Familiarity with scripting or automation in Windows (PowerShell, batch scripts, etc.).
- Experience in performance optimization systems.
