Job Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the analysis of engineering requirements to support the development of optimal design solutions for medical device components, ensuring compliance with industry standards, working under direct supervision.
  • Executes detailed test plans, procedures, and protocols to rigorously validate engineering designs, ensuring stringent adherence to high-quality standards.
  • Documents comprehensive design specifications, test results, and validation procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Participates in evaluations of design improvements based on thorough testing and analysis, driving initiatives to enhance product quality, performance, and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoots advanced technical issues across hardware, software, or other technical components, employing expert problem-solving skills to resolve complex challenges and minimize production downtime.
  • Tracks and analyzes the performance and reliability of complex systems and components, identifying areas for improvement and spearheading initiatives to optimize product performance.
  • Ensures strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards, promoting consistent compliance and operational excellence.
  • Drafts comprehensive technical findings, design proposals, and project updates to senior stakeholders, effectively communicating complex engineering concepts and solutions.
  • Implements and refines engineering best practices and methodologies, driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and accelerate time-to-market for new products.
  • Helps to collect feedback from rigorous testing and user experience studies, incorporating insights to continually refine and enhance product designs, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and product performance.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with 2-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong hands-on expertise in C# and .NET Core, with experience building and maintaining enterprise-grade applications
  • Proven experience with WCF services, relational databases, and writing efficient, optimized queries
  • Solid front-end development experience using JavaScript / TypeScript and ReactJS for building responsive, user-friendly applications
  • Working knowledge of healthcare imaging standards, particularly DICOM, and familiarity with healthcare workflows is highly desirable
  • Experience with Windows Forms (WinForms) development in desktop-based applications
  • Good scripting knowledge (PowerShell, batch, or similar) to support automation and development workflows
  • Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks and a strong focus on code quality, testability, and maintainability
  • Exposure to DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, source control, and automated builds/releases
  • Experience working in Agile development environments, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated AI-first mindset, with interest or experience in leveraging AI/ML-driven approaches to enhance product capabilities and developer productivity
  • Clear and effective communicator, able to articulate technical concepts and status updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholder.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
