The CSCP organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as plan, source, make, deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), sustainability, and decommissioning of datacenter assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. The Cloud Supply Chain Engineering (CSCP-E) group is an exciting and fast-evolving engineering group within Microsoft that powers Microsoft's Cloud-first mission. We are responsible for supporting the supply chain that powers Microsoft's cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities
Implement, support and maintain the Circular Cloud solution built on top of Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations ERP with embedded AI/copilot and autonomous agent capabilities across supply chain. Design and implement microservices to enable real time, highly scalable, performant, and sustainable solutions. Deliver well-tested features across many different services and platforms. Use engineering best practices throughout the software development lifecycle to establish maintainable, reliable, and secure systems. Integrate D365 ERP with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, Azure services, Power Platform. Leverage AI Agents and Utilize the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to enable secure, governed AI-agent access to business functions. Act as both a functional and technical expert, partnering with business and engineering product managers to envision, design, and deliver AI-driven business transformation. Collaborate with teammates in various roles to plan and execute on key deliverables. Work in a culture of continuous improvement, adaptation, reflection, and growth. Learn quickly from your peers, projects, and interactions with customers.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
Delivered Features or Familiarity with the following modules in D365 F&O Inventory management, Product information management, Vendor management, Supplier collaboration, Procurement and sourcing, Master planning, Accounts payable/receivables.
Hands-on experience in D365 Co-pilot and AI/Agentic solutions to automate the business process workflows.
Experience In Power Pages And Other UI Scripting Languages.
Experience w/ data technologies like Azure Data Explorer (Kusto), Databricks, and Data Factories
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment Azure technologies such as Functions, Service Bus, SQL, AAD & AAD applications Scripting languages such as PowerShell Experience with agile development methodologies.
