About the Role

Emburse is seeking a talented and passionate Software Engineer II to join our Engineering team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will contribute to the development of innovative and interconnected software solutions that empower our customers worldwide. You will work on modern web applications, scalable microservices, and cloud-native technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain high-quality web applications.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive and scalable frontend applications using React.js.
• Integrate frontend and backend services to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, QA, DevOps, and other Engineering teams.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional IT experience in software development.
• Strong experience building enterprise-grade web applications and microservices.

Technical Skills

Backend Technologies

• Core Java (Java 8/11/17/21)
• Spring Boot
• Hibernate/JPA
• REST APIs and Microservices Architecture
• Multithreading and Java Collections Framework

Frontend Technologies

• React.js
• JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• HTML5
• CSS3

Database

• MySQL

DevOps & Tools

• Git
• Gradle
• Jenkins CI/CD
• Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the FinTech domain.
• Knowledge of cloud-native application development and deployment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Working Hours

• Regular Shift: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM IST
