Trimble is seeking a Software Engineer (P2) to support the FedRAMP initiative. This is a key engineering role focused on the hands-on development of secure, compliant, and high-quality software. You will be responsible for executing feature-level tasks, adhering to implementation best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet FedRAMP readiness standards. Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Feature Development: Design and develop full-stack web features using C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, and SQL Server.
Security Compliance: Implement secure coding practices in alignment with FedRAMP requirements.
Execution: Take ownership of assigned tasks within epics to ensure high-quality and on-time delivery.
Vulnerability Remediation: Work with QA and Security teams to troubleshoot and fix vulnerabilities or compliance findings.
Collaboration: Actively participate in design discussions and contribute practical ideas for feature implementation.
Code Quality: Participate in peer code reviews to ensure security, performance, and maintainability.
CI/CD Support: Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Maintenance: Assist in troubleshooting, defect resolution, and maintaining production stability.
Cloud Operations: Experience with AWS and Azure skills is strongly preferred.
Key Result Areas
Consistent Delivery: On-time completion of secure, FedRAMP-aligned features.
Code Integrity: High-quality code output with low defect rates.
Proactive Remediation: Effective resolution of security and compliance issues.
Team Contribution: Active and constructive participation in Agile ceremonies and technical discussions.
Cloud Fluency: Demonstrated familiarity with AWS and Azure platforms is advantageous.
Required Skills
Technical Stack: Hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, and SQL Server.
Security Awareness: Good understanding of web application security (OWASP) and secure development.
Workflow: Experience working with enterprise-scale systems and complex workflows.
DevOps Basics: Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
Agile: Experience working in a Scrum or Agile environment.
Communication: Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly within a team setting.
Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure skills is strongly preferred.
Experience
3-5 years of professional software development experience.
Proven track record of delivering full-stack features independently.
Experience in a regulated or compliance-heavy environment (FedRAMP, SOC2, etc.) is a plus.
Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms is desirable.
