We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer I with a strong foundation in C++ programming, networking concepts, and an interest in AI technologies to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of high-performance networking and security solutions while working closely with senior engineers.

What You'll be Working on:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software components using C++.

• Implement new features and enhance existing networking applications.

• Debug and resolve software defects.

• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

• Explore and contribute to AI-powered features where applicable.

What you Bring to the Role

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.

• 1-2 years of software development experience (or strong academic/project experience).

• Good programming skills in C++ with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and data structures.

• Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including:

• TCP/IP

• UDP

• DNS

• HTTP/HTTPS

• Basic socket programming

• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and Git.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to multithreading concepts in C++.

• Understanding of network security concepts such as firewalls, proxies, VPNs, or SSL/TLS.

• Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning concepts, including experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) or exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI frameworks through coursework, projects, or internships.

• Experience with Python is a plus.

• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
