The Front-End developer should have a solid understanding of web development processes from inception to deployment. This role will require excellent problem-solving skills and flexibility due to the changing needs of the business. This individual should be able to translate our customer needs into functional and appealing websites and aspire to combine usability and accessibility with visual designs. This role should be able to create a functional and attractive digital environment for our company, ensuring great user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze application requirements and provide recommended design to support the business

Implement responsible web design principles to ensure that websites render well across multiple devices and are responsive

Integration of existing/new Web applications with backend databases(internal and external)

Understanding principals of WCAG 2.1 to be able to develop ADA compliant websites

Understanding key website design principles and SEO optimization

Work in a collaborative coding environment with knowledge of CI pipelines, GIT, SVN and deployments

Strong Technical writing skills for updating supporting documentation, Knowledgebase articles etc.

Knowledge of Agile development practices for project execution

Provide technical support and training to appropriate stakeholders

Staying up to date with emerging technology and industry trends

Qualifications & Experience

Experience using content management systems, including Adobe Experience Manager

Experience with Java, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Jquery, ReactJS, AngularJS , NodeJS, Bootstrap

Understand server-side CSS

Experience with implementing RESTful services and API's

Experience with graphic design tools(e.g. Adobe XD, Figma)

Successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in website development.

Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the biotechnology sector is a plus.

Collaborates and works with stakeholders to problem solve and meet requests.

Excellent written and communication skill are required.
