• Excellent problem-solving skills to solve sophisticated issues.
• Ability to work in macOS and Linux command-line environments.
• Understanding of and experience using version control software such as git.
• Experience with backend development languages such as:

• Understanding of and experience with back-end development and technologies, such as:
• SQL or NoSQL databases, Redis
• Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP requests
• Websockets
• Able to understand and implement technical specifications.
• Able to collaborate on developing project specifications.
• Able to communicate technical details to non-technical support staff in a solutions-oriented manner.
• Cloud technologies like AWS or GCP Proficiency.
• Maintain and up to date documentation on the feature developed.

Bonus points

• Understanding and experience of mobile app technologies on platforms such as:
• Android, iOS
• Understanding of test automation technologies such as:
• Appium, Selenium
• Practical knowledge of concurrent paradigms in Python, specifically utilizing the asyncio library and associated asynchronous design patterns.
• Familiarity with FastAPI and tornado.
• Familiarity with the LGTM(Loki, Grafana, Tempo & Mimir) stack and message queues, such as Kafka.
• Experience compiling, debugging, and deploying programs on the command line.
• Experience with Docker or other container technologies.
• Experience with Generative AI, handling and integrating AI agents, knowledge of LangChain and LangGraph would be an advantage.

Required Experience

• 3-4 years of experience working in a backend software engineering role.

Required Education

• BE in Computer Science or Information Science or MCA with at least Android / iOS knowledge
