About The Role
Join our backend engineering team to build a modern, high-performance trading platform in Go. You will work on REST APIs, microservices, and real-time data systems that power live trades for the next generation of Indian investors.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design and develop backend services in Go
- Build REST APIs, WebSocket endpoints, and microservices
- Design and maintain database schemas — PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
- Write clean, testable code with strong unit and integration test coverage
- Collaborate with senior engineers on design and code reviews
- Deploy, monitor, and debug services in production
- Contribute to platform-wide engineering practices and standards
MUST HAVE
- 2–4 years of hands-on Go development experience
- Working knowledge of REST API design, HTTP semantics, and microservices patterns
- Solid understanding of relational or NoSQL databases — PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
- Comfort with Git, code reviews, and agile development workflows
- Familiarity with concurrency in Go — goroutines, channels, context
- Ability to write clean, testable, maintainable code
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and take ownership of assigned work
Preferred (nice To Have)
- Experience in the trading, fintech, or financial-services domain
- Exposure to WebSocket, gRPC, or message brokers (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ)
- Cloud platform experience — AWS or GCP
- Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline experience
- Understanding of low-latency or real-time system design
- Exposure to broker APIs or algorithmic trading systems
