Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Node.js Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust and efficient software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development processes.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases and ensure the best possible performance.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in engineering, or a related field, or equivalent enterprise level practical experience.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Node.js developer.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, ES6+, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with React.js and Express.js or other frameworks required.
- Proficiency in working with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL.
- Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) is preferred.
- Understanding of security practices in backend development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Nice To Have
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in Insurance Domain
