Role: Software Engineer - Full-Stack & DevOps
Location: Gurugram, Haryana, India
Workplace type: Hybrid i.e. 6 days a week (2-3 days per week in-office, rest remote)
About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong full-stack development and DevOps experience to build, deploy, and maintain reliable production applications.
You will work across the complete software development lifecycle, from designing user interfaces and backend services to managing cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, monitoring, and performance. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys owning features end to end and turning product requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable systems.
Experience working in LegalTech, compliance, finance, healthcare, or another domain involving sensitive and complex data is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy full-stack web applications
- Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks
- Build secure backend services, APIs, database models, and integrations
- Design and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows
- Containerize applications and manage development, staging, and production environments
- Improve application performance, reliability, security, and scalability
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, backups, and incident response processes
- Work with product, design, engineering, and domain experts to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Review code, improve engineering standards, and contribute to technical architecture
- Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve systems based on user feedback and operational data
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and at least one backend programming language
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular
- Experience building backend applications and REST or GraphQL APIs
- Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and SQL
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
- Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation
- Familiarity with authentication, authorization, application security, and data privacy
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing, version control, debugging, and code review
- Ability to independently take a feature from planning to production
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at a LegalTech startup or working with legal documents, contracts, compliance, or document management
- Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar infrastructure tools
- Familiarity with observability platforms, performance monitoring, and incident management
- Experience integrating AI or LLM-powered features into production applications
- Experience working in a fast-moving startup environment
