Role Overview:
At Zamp, our engineering team is the force behind our technological innovations. Transforming the most ambitious ideas into reality, we breathe life into dreams through code and hardware. With the right mix of expertise and creativity, this team is the unseen magicians who add a dash of tech wizardry to make Zamp's products shine.
From coding late into the night to brainstorming over a cup of coffee, we are always on a mission to make our technology stand out. We are not just the engineering team but the tech superheroes that keep Zamp at the forefront of innovation.
What you'll do:
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and performant frontend solutions using modern web technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements and designs into functional, user-centric interfaces.
- Serve as a technical expert in frontend development, staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes, code quality, and front-end architecture.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement standards, best practices, and coding conventions.
- Perform performance optimisations to enhance application speed, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Champion usability and accessibility standards, ensuring applications are intuitive and inclusive for all users.
- Monitor user feedback and conduct user testing to make data-driven UI/UX improvements.
- Stay aligned with project timelines and consistently deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
Qualifications Required:
- 3-6 years of experience as a Frontend Engineer, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality frontend solutions
- Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Deep understanding of frontend architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards finding solutions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while adhering to deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
