Software Engineer, Frontend (SWE-1/2)

Position Overview

Our team comprises experts in machine learning and software engineers from top-tier US tech companies like Apple and Amazon. With our product already in the market, first clients onboarded, and sufficient runway secured, we are passionate about using AI to enhance access to credit information for businesses. We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Frontend Software Engineer experienced in TypeScript and React. As a new member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in establishing and shaping our frontend development practices, focusing on building intuitive and responsive user interfaces essential for our services.

Key Responsibilities

- Frontend Development: Design, build, and maintain robust frontend applications using TypeScript and React.

- User Interface Design: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces.

- Performance Optimization: Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications across various devices and browsers.

- Integration: Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and services seamlessly.

- Quality Assurance: Implement testing frameworks and conduct thorough testing to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the frontend code.

- Innovative Problem-Solving: Stay ahead of the curve with emerging technologies and methodologies in frontend development.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong experience in TypeScript and React, with a solid understanding of modern frontend development practices. Ideally 2+ years of professional work experience.

- Familiarity with state management libraries (such as Redux) and frontend build tools.

- Basic experience with AWS services and deploying frontend applications.

- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
