We're seeking a Frontend Engineer with solid experience in building modern, responsive web applications using React or Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend architectures. In this role, you will build and enhance the user interfaces that power pricing administration, merchandising workflows, promotional configuration, and catalog management tools.
You'll work closely with senior engineers, UX designers, product, and business teams to deliver responsive, accessible, and high-performance frontend applications. Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React or Angular with TypeScript.
- Build and maintain reusable UI component libraries aligned with design system standards.
- Implement state management patterns (Redux, NgRx, Context API) for complex frontend applications.
- Translate UX/UI designs and wireframes into pixel-perfect, accessible frontend implementations.
- Optimize frontend performance through lazy loading, code splitting, and bundle optimization.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and web accessibility (WCAG) compliance.
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Write unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and frontend architecture decisions.
- Leverage CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, AI code assistants) as part of daily engineering workflows to accelerate development velocity and code quality.
Requirements
Years of Experience
4+ years of professional frontend development experience with React or Angular and TypeScript.
Basic Qualifications
- Proven experience building responsive, accessible web applications using React or Angular with TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/SASS, and modern frontend design patterns.
- Experience with state management, component architecture, and frontend testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, code quality tools, and version control (Git).
- Ability to analyze, debug, and optimize frontend applications for performance and usability.
- Demonstrated ability to work in Agile teams and deliver high-quality software on time.
- AI-native SDLC mindset demonstrated ability to use AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, AI code assistants) as a force multiplier in everyday engineering work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail, eCommerce, or B2B commerce technology is a plus.
- Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, or backend development frameworks.
- Understanding of RESTful API design and how frontend applications consume backend services.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerization (Docker).
- Familiarity with pricing, promotions, or merchandising domain concepts.
- Experience with Micro Frontends or module federation patterns.
