About The Role
Join our mobile engineering team to build the trading app for a modern financial platform. You will work with React Native and Expo to deliver mobile features end-to-end, contributing to a fast, reliable, real-time trading experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build mobile features end-to-end using React Native and Expo
- Develop responsive, interactive UI components for iOS and Android
- Integrate REST APIs and WebSocket streams for market data and order flows
- Contribute to unit and integration testing
- Collaborate with backend, design, and senior mobile engineers
- Debug and fix issues across iOS and Android platforms
- Contribute to app releases and monitor post-release quality
MUST HAVE
- 2–4 years of hands-on React Native / Expo development
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals
- Solid grasp of React fundamentals — components, hooks, state management
- Experience building mobile UIs with responsive design
- Familiarity with the Expo ecosystem — EAS Build, EAS Update, or bare workflow
- Comfort with Git, code reviews, and agile workflows
- Basic understanding of REST API integration and async patterns
- Ability to build features end-to-end under senior guidance
Preferred (nice To Have)
- Experience in the trading, fintech, or financial-services domain
- Native iOS or Android exposure (Swift, Kotlin)
- Understanding of secure storage and mobile security basics
- Push notifications and deep-linking familiarity
- Testing frameworks — Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox
- Prior work on consumer-facing mobile apps
- Contributions to open-source React Native projects
