Role Description EarthSync is seeking a sharp, fast-learning Software Development Engineer to join our core team early in its journey. This is a rare chance to grow as an engineer while working directly with the founders on products that matter at the intersection of AI and the energy transition.

You'll work across the whole stack: you'll move between machine learning, neural networks, agentic workflow development, time-series forecasting, data pipelining, optimisation, backend, and frontend as the work demands. You'll learn fast, ship real code in your first weeks, and see your work drive decisions for enterprise customers in the energy sector.

What We're Looking For

• Strong CS fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and a genuine instinct for clean, correct code.
• Working proficiency in Python and/or a modern web stack (TypeScript/React); willingness to become comfortable across backend, data, and frontend.
• 0–3 years of experience (internships, projects, open-source, or competitive programming all count) and a strong track record of learning quickly.
• Experience in data science and agentic AI workflow development.
• A solid grounding in optimisation and statistics, including undergraduate-level mathematics (linear algebra, probability, and calculus).
• A bias toward ownership and a hunger to figure things out, you take problems from ambiguous to done, and ask good questions along the way.

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with Docker, cloud platforms, or data orchestration tools.
• Experience in a startup or other fast-paced, high-ownership environment.
• Interest in energy markets, climate tech, or energy policy or eagerness to build that knowledge quickly.
