Software Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Qt and C++ Developer with 2–4 years of experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing desktop or embedded applications using C++ and Qt. The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, good problem-solving skills, and experience working in a software development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using C++ and Qt framework.
• Design and implement user interfaces using Qt Widgets / QML.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable C++ code.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues and defects.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
• Optimize application performance and memory usage.
• Participate in software design, development, testing, and documentation.
• Use version control systems such as Git for source-code management.
• Support software releases and resolve production issues when required.

Required Skills

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in C++ application development.
• Good knowledge of Qt framework.
• Experience with Qt Widgets and/or QML.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Good knowledge of STL, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with multithreading, signals & slots, and event-driven programming.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Git or other version-control systems.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and coding best practices.

Good to Have

• Experience with Linux/Windows application development.
• Knowledge of CMake/qmake.
• Exposure to REST APIs, TCP/IP, sockets, or other communication protocols.
• Experience with embedded systems or hardware-software integration.
• Familiarity with Jira or other project-management tools.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Education

Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, Engineering, or a related field.
