The Software Engineer is responsible for contributing to testing and automation efforts across applications, with a strong focus on learning, execution, and continuous improvement.

This position reports to the Senior Engineering Manager and is part of the Quality Engineering team located in and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Contribute to API and UI testing by designing and executing test cases.
  • Support the development and maintenance of automation scripts and frameworks.
  • Perform functional, integration, and regression testing across applications.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality at every stage. Identify, log, and track defects with clear documentation and analysis.
  • Learn and apply AI-powered tools to enhance testing productivity and efficiency. Continuously build skills in automation, coding, and quality engineering practices.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Strong coding fundamentals in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Exposure to API testing (REST, JSON, tools like Postman or similar).
  • Foundational knowledge or interest in UI automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, etc.).
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Demonstrated learning agility and a positive, ownership-driven attitude.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Internship experience in testing, automation, or development. Exposure to automation frameworks or scripting
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD concepts. Interest or early experience in AI-assisted development or testing tools
