Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions with expertise in Cloudflare.
Develop strategies to secure web applications against security threats like SQL injections, cross-site scripting, and DDoS attacks.
Identify vulnerabilities and proactively implement security patches or enhancements.
Collaborate with the development team to integrate security best practices and compliance requirements.
Monitor application traffic and address any anomalies or cybersecurity risks.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to enhance organizational expertise in WAF technologies.
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and implement necessary adjustments to WAF solutions.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of experience in WAF solution design and implementation.
Proficiency in Cloudflare WAF and strong understanding of web application security.
Expertise in identifying and mitigating cybersecurity threats, including hands-on experience with DDoS, SQL injections, and XSS.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO27001 is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to convey security strategies effectively to various stakeholders.
A bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
