Job Title: PTC Codebeamer Developer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Seeking a professional with 4–12 years of experience in Codebeamer customization development and migration.
• Design, develop, and implement integrations between our core ALM/PLM tools (specifically PTC Codebeamer) and other enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, MES) using APIs and web services.
• Create and maintain technical specifications for integration interfaces, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Configure and manage API platforms, implementing secure authentication and authorization protocols like OAuth2 and JWT.
• Develop scripts and utilities in languages like Python or JavaScript to automate processes and data synchronization.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data reporting, validation, and troubleshooting within integrated systems.
• Utilize tools like Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI for API testing, documentation, and collaboration.
• Support and enhance our CI/CD pipelines by integrating ALM/PLM data to enable automated reporting and gating.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver effective integration solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing integrations.

Qualifications & Skills (Must-Have):

• Proven professional experience with the PTC ALM tool Codebeamer.
• In-depth knowledge of integrating IT systems using APIs and web services (REST, SOAP) and data formats like JSON and XML.
• Hands-on experience with API management platforms and modern authentication methods (OAuth2, JWT).
• Proficiency in scripting language, such as Python or JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Practical experience with API testing tools like Postman and API specification tools like Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Experience with other ALM/PLM tools such as Jira, Windchill, or Windchill RV&S.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
