About the Role
We are seeking a TPF (Transaction Processing Facility) Developer with hands-on experience of 3 to 12 Years in airline reservation, ticketing, scheduling, or departure control systems.You'll build and optimize high-volume, real-time transaction processing applications on IBM TPF, ensuring low latency, high availability, and fault tolerance for mission-critical airline services.
Key Responsibilities
Core (all levels):
- Design, develop, and enhance TPF applications using C/C++, Assembler (where applicable), and TPF APIs.
- Implement and maintain real-time, high-throughput transaction flows (PNR, inventory, pricing, payment, check-in, DCS, etc.).
- Analyze and optimize performance, throughput, CPU usage, and I/O for large-scale systems.
- Debug production issues: core dumps, traces, transaction logs; perform root cause analysis and fixes.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA, and operations on end-to-end delivery.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with airline industry standards.
- Write technical documentation: design specs, runbooks, deployment procedures.
