Description
As a Cloud System Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in deploying, maintaining, and supporting our cloud infrastructure solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud environments. This role requires hands-on experience with Kubernetes, and AWS, along with a willingness to support rotational shifts.
A Typical Day In The Life Includes
- Administer and maintain Linux-based servers.
- Deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications.
- Manage and optimize cloud resources on AWS platforms.
- Manage and optimize cloud resources on AWS platforms (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, EKS, Route 53, ELB).
- Participate in OnCall rotation and provide support during non-standard hours and maintenance windows.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor system performance using monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) and troubleshoot issues proactively.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management
- Proficiency in Kubernetes orchestration and containerization technologies.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Willingness to support rotational shifts.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana
