Essential Functions
- Develop software solutions across multiple subsystems within our applications, including collaboration with requirements definition, prototyping, architectural design, coding, testing and deployment
- Performs complex product design, systems analysis and engineering activities on applications software
- The role requires effective use of modern AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot and similar) to accelerate coding, improve quality, and enhance test coverage while maintaining strong engineering fundamentals.
- Accelerate the software lifecycle by using AI coding assistants to automate boilerplate, generate unit tests, and perform multi-file refactoring.
- Utilize AI to enhance code quality through real-time debugging, vulnerability identification, and the maintenance of clear, automated documentation.
- Leverage AI-driven repository insights to quickly master unfamiliar codebases and streamline complex problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of how AI Agents and Agentic AI works, and their differences.
- Understands how our applications operate, are structured, and how customers use them
- Provides engineering support when building, deploying, configuring and supporting systems for customers
- Research new technology and development tools to remain informed of current trends
- Documents and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments and clearly readable code
- Analyzes defects, performs root cause analysis, and collaborates to resolve
- Complies with established internal quality systems and considers standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements as part of coding activities

- Understanding of build, test, and deployment automation
- Ability to work with AI agents and work on the output generated by it.
- Required Experience & Education o Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or related discipline or equivalent experience o 6-9 years experience with software development life cycle, software testing methodologies, and quality assurance o Expert knowledge of .NET Core, Asp.Net MVC, C#, RDBMS (Oracle (preferred), SQL Server), OOPS concepts as well as multi-tiered application design and development, and HTML/DHTML o Experience in front end web technologies like React, Angular o Experience in API programming, Scripting, and Service Oriented Architecture o Experience with Microservices architecture o Experience using Copilot or any other AI tool for development. o Use GitHub CoPilot CLI to fix bugs.
