C++ Developer – MetaCAM Development/Maintenance

Location: [Siruseri, Chennai]

Role Overview:

We are looking for a C++ Developer to contribute to MetaCAM development and maintenance, working on large-scale, modular C++ applications. The role requires object-oriented design expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and familiarity with the Windows development stack.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain software on the C++ platform, ensuring adherence to object-oriented design principles

Implement and optimize memory management, pointers, references, and other C++ concepts

Work on Windows development stack using Visual C++ and Platform SDK

Collaborate with teams to maintain and enhance large, modular codebases

Write and maintain technical documentation for the codebase

Adapt quickly to new coding standards and documentation styles

Required Skills:

3+ years of C++ development experience

Strong object-oriented design and development skills

Proficiency in memory management, pointers, references, and other core C++ concepts

Familiarity with Windows development stack (Visual C++, Platform SDK)

Strong problem-solving and algorithmic abilities

Ability to follow and adapt to coding and documentation standards

Bonus / Nice-to-Have Skills:

Prior exposure to CAD/CAM or manufacturing software

Experience with .NET platform (C#)

Basic familiarity with COM development, Compound Documents, .NET/COM interop

Knowledge of computational geometry algorithms

Experience with Git/GitHub or other source code management systems

Experience using documentation generators like Doxygen

Prior exposure to large, modular C++ codebases
