Software Engineer with strong experience in
cloud native and serverless architectures. The role involves building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using
AWS,
Node.js, and
Python, while collaborating closely with multi-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain serverless and containerized backend services on AWS
- Build and manage AWS Lambda, Fargate/ECS, and related cloud components
- Develop RESTful and event driven APIs using Node.js and Python
- Design scalable, fault tolerant, secure architectures
- Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and DevOps teams
- Write clean, maintainable, and well tested code
- Participate in system design, architecture, and code reviews
- Optimize performance, reliability, and cost on AWS
- Implement security best practices, monitoring, and logging
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Required Technical Skills
Cloud & Backend
- AWS services: Lambda, Fargate/ECS, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, DynamoDB/RDS
- Strong hands-on experience with serverless architectures
Programming
- Proficiency in Node.js and Python
- Experience building backend services, APIs, and microservices
DevOps & Tooling
- Version control using Git
- CI/CDbased development (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Infrastructure as Code exposure (CloudFormation, Terraform) plus
Architecture & Design
- Strong understanding of design patterns
- Knowledge of system design and distributed systems
- Experience designing scalable, highavailability applications
Good to Have
- Docker and container orchestration basics
- Eventdriven systems (SNS, SQS, EventBridge)
- Monitoring, logging, and observability tools
- Cloud security best practices
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Basic frontend or API consumer knowledge
