This group utilizes services offered by multiple cloud vendors, AWS Azure, and provides a smooth and consistent experience to all Barco cloud services in terms of infrastructure, observability, security and reliability.
About Role
As our Devops Engineer you will:
- work on our development and production cloud infrastructure which is hosting all our cloud applications
- support all application teams in terms of cloud deployment and bring us to the next level
- work with colleagues around the world to ensure our customers can fully rely on our cloud services for their critical applications 24/7.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
- 3-8 years relevant experience in a DevOps
Desired Skills
- Atleast 5 years relevant experience in a DevOps multi cloud environment (Git, Jenkins, AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience on Cloud automation is a must using terraform, Kubernetes CRDs, strong scripting (Bash/Salt/Ansible/Terraform) and Programming (GoLang, Python/Ruby) skills
- Have strong knowledge of cloud monitoring tools (Prometheus, Cloudwatch, Grafana, New Relic)
- Experience on the EFK log management solutions
- Have strong Linux, Networking and System Administration skills
- Involved in the DevOps Community and Open Source projects (visiting conferences, meetups, giving talks, etc...)
- Likes to take initiative, work in close collaboration with fellow developers and share your ideas and knowledge
- Can work independently and fully conversational in English
