Software Engineer - Backend

We are looking for:
● 5+ years of experience in building large scale distributed applications.
● Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with great attention to detail
● Experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications
● Experience with automated builds and CI/CD design patterns
● Experience with Microservices and Cloud-based architectures/design patterns

Technical Skills and Experience:
● Strong experience in Java; C++ experience also preferred
● Experience with top tier RDBMS such as SQL Server and Postgres
● Experience with database libraries such as Hibernate and JDBI
● Experience with web server technologies such as Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, and Nginx
● Experience with build/deploy systems such as Jenkins and Octopus
● Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
● Experience with Elasticsearch and Kafka is a plus
● BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience or other evidence of exceptional ability.
