Software Engineer (Backend Developer)

Qualification: M Tech/ BE- Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication

Experience: 6 to 9 years

Roles & Responsibilities:

Senior Backend Developer with Technically strong & equally strong in ownership, collaboration and self-management

Motivated and ambitious Toolchain & Development Environment Engineer

Customer focused and capable of guiding technical decisions and reviews within the team, support/mentor the team through technical guidance

Key role in enabling efficient and reliable software development, Own backend design, Quality and long-term maintainability

Someone who is passionate about developer productivity, build systems, and modern software engineering environments

Experience in Embedded systems with MISRA automotive standards or equivalent safety critical coding standards

Design, develop, and manage build systems and toolchains to support ATS onboard software

Enable engineering productivity by implementing user-friendly tooling and developer workflows

Experience with communication protocols for robotics or distributed systems like DDS, ZeroMQ

Ensure reliable compilation, build, and deployment processes in a Linux-based environment

Collaborate across engineering teams, frontend & product stakeholders to improve/understand developer efficiency and software quality

Must Have:

Strong hands-on C++ experience in Embedded systems

Strong hands-on expertise with CMake, Conan, Bazel Build system development environments.

Proficiency in Linux-based environment, artifact management & deployment tools like JFrog

Experience in communication protocols for Robotics or distributed system like DDS, ZeroMQ or equivalent

A strong Agile and DevOps mindset, with a focus on collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement.

Working knowledge of creating Docker files to support configuration management and containerization.

Practical experience with Git and GitLab, including branching strategies and CI/CD pipeline configuration.

A results-oriented approach with the ability to proactively identify issues, propose solutions, and navigate obstacles effectively.
