Job Description: Deputy Manager / Manager – Operations (Core Platforms & Testing)
Work location: Gurgaon Head Office Sector 65, Gurgaon
Department- IT Operations / Core Applications / Business Analysis & Testing
Experience- 4+ Years of relevant experience in Life Insurance systems
Education- Minimum Graduate (B.E / B.Tech / MCA / B.Sc or equivalent preferred)

Job Purpose
The Deputy Manager / Manager will drive operational excellence, system enhancements, and quality assurance for Aviva's core policy administration frameworks (specifically Group Asia and related PAS ecosystems). This role acts as a critical bridge between Business Operations, IT Development, and QA teams to manage system enhancements, production support, and full-lifecycle testing
- Good Knowledge of Life Insurance concepts, Products & Group Asia (Mandatory), prior experience of working on GroupAsia is required
- Basic level of working on excel (Mandatory)
- Worked at BA/Tester (Mandatory)
- Basic/Intermediate knowledge of SQL/Oracle (Good to have)
- Understands SDLC, STLC & other IT terminology (Mandatory)
- Stakeholder Management (Good to have)
- Any certification in Life Insurance or testing (Good to have)
Required Key Skills & Qualifications
- Domain Expertise: Mandatory deep exposure to Life Insurance Operations and Policy Administration Systems (PAS).
- Platform Knowledge: Hands-on experience or high familiarity working with Group Asia or LifeAsia frameworks.
- Database Skills: Proficient in writing intermediate to advanced SQL or Oracle queries (joins, subqueries, indexing) to fetch and reconcile complex data structures.
- Process Methodologies: Firm understanding of traditional and agile SDLC and STLC methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding communication capabilities backed by a track record of driving change through proactive Stakeholder Management.
