Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for various applications
- Collaborate with the Scrum team to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables
- Conduct API automation testing using tools such as Tosca
- Utilize SQL for database testing and validation
- Manage and track defects using bug tracking and test management tools
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC, ensuring adherence to manual QA processes
- Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to enhance testing efficiency
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding testing progress and results
Skills Required:
- Strong experience in automated testing frameworks and scripting
- Proficiency in API automation testing using tools like Tosca or similar
- Solid knowledge of SQL for database testing and data validation
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for test management and CI/CD integration
- Understanding of manual QA processes and how they complement automation
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test case management tools
- Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) in Agile/Scrum environments
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
