Software Engineer

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various client requirements and designing effective solutions to meet those needs. The role includes coding and testing multiple components of application software, ensuring that each element functions seamlessly within the broader system. Time is also dedicated to maintaining existing applications, implementing enhancements, and developing new features to improve overall performance and user experience. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders is an ongoing part of the day to ensure alignment with project goals and client expectations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for software development.

- Document technical specifications and maintain clear records of development activities.

- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects to ensure system reliability.

- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when needed.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PTC Windchill.

- Experience with software development lifecycle processes and best practices.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and optimize code effectively.

- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development tools.

- Ability to work with complex software architectures and integrate multiple components.

- Good communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly within the team.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in PTC Windchill.

- This position is based at our Pan India office.

- A 15 years full time education is required.
