Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manual Tester with strong functional knowledge of Loan Origination System (LOS), Loan Management System (LMS), and Collections modules. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing within the banking domain and a solid understanding of end-to-end loan lifecycle processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and system workflows related to LOS, LMS, and Collections.
- Design, review, and execute manual test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on requirements.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT support testing.
- Validate end-to-end loan processes including onboarding, credit checks, disbursement, repayment schedules, delinquency, and collections workflows.
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Prepare test execution reports, defect reports, and test summary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with banking standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality guidelines.
- Support production issues, root cause analysis, and post-release validation when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in manual testing within the banking domain.
- Strong functional knowledge of LOS, LMS, and Collections modules.
- Understanding of loan lifecycle processes: origination, underwriting, disbursement, repayment, delinquency, and recovery.
- Experience in writing detailed test cases and executing test cycles.
- Knowledge of SQL for basic data validation (preferred).
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, TestRail).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on core banking or lending platforms.
- Exposure to UAT coordination with business users.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance related to lending.
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification (added advantage).
