Software Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Engineer (3–6 Years) located in Hyderabad, India. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and high-performance web applications. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and maintainable software solutions while ensuring optimal system performance and user experience.

Daily activities include backend and frontend development, API design, database management, CI/CD implementation, and troubleshooting production issues in a cloud-based environment.

Job Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python (FastAPI) and Node.js.
• Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces using React.js.
• Design and implement scalable REST APIs and microservices architectures.
• Develop and manage MongoDB databases, including schema design, indexing, and aggregations.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously optimize application performance.
• Work with Docker and cloud-based environments (preferably Azure) for deployments

Required Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience using FastAPI.
• Experience with Node.js (Express.js or Nest.js preferred).
• Hands-on experience with React.js for frontend development.
• Solid experience working with MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
• Knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug production issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience building real-time applications using WebSockets.
• Familiarity with Redis, Kafka, or other message queues.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep).
