You will be providing application support as software engineer on investigating issues escalated by L1 support, prepare documentation, provide fixes, and perform unit testing. You must be able to communicate well in English both in verbal and written forms and work well with relevant parties.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Troubleshoot, logs analysis, and perform diagnosis on the Issues/Problems/Defects escalated to the team.
•Participate in testing and error reproduction.
•Prepare solution and technical documents.
• Monitoring of performance, response time and utilization of service application and its components.
•Provide workaround, corrective fixes or data patches for Incidents/Problems.
•Assist with data extraction requests.
•Take ownership of the Incidents/Problems tickets until resolved, and follow-up to ensure it is resolved within the SLA.
•Provide support during deployment activities.
•Able to work and collaborate with all relevant parties, IT teams and users.
•Able to identify improvements, come up with creative and effective solutions to identified system gaps.
•Ability and willingness to work within tightly controlled policies and procedures.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE
Diploma/Degree holder in Information Technology, Info Systems or equivalent.
• Minimum Six years experience working in IT industry dealing with application support and software development.
• Proficient in Java programming language.
• Work with SQL queries and scripting.
•Familiar with Microsoft applications.
