Position type- Full Time

Work Location- Bangalore, Whitefield

Working style- Hybrid

Cab Facility- Yes

Shift Time - 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM IST time

People Manager role: No

Required education and certifications critical for the role- Any Graduate or Post-Graduate (full time)

Required years of experience - 3-9 years of relevant experience

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

We are looking for a highly skilled data engineer to join a highly motivated and hardworking team, working on one of Aon flagship applications. The ideal candidate can support the team and requirement through its life cycle, from analysis, architecture, and design, to development, testing and implementation. This is a position where you will have a visible impact on the product and its success.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The talent in this role will build integrations and pipelines that enable efficient joining across our internal and 3rd party data catalogue to the MDM platform
  • They are responsible for ensuring quality standards, reviewing, and organising technical team's work, supervising performance of integrations and responding to system issues proactively.
  • Optimize physical data structures (indexes, partitions, storage formats) for performance and scalability.
  • Implement API endpoints or message-based integrations so consuming systems can access golden records
  • Implement data reconciliation checks between sources & MDM.
  • Ensure delivery of timely, innovative, accurate, and best in class solutions.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • Experience in previous roles as a Data Engineer
  • High proficiency of knowledge in data storage and retrieval
  • Experience with a relational database such as Oracle, SQL Server and Databricks including data design in a production environment
  • Proficiency in data processing languages such as Python, Pyspark, SQL
  • ETL experience including data cleansing and preparation for modelling
  • Knowledge of Master Data Management, and hands on experience working on MDM tools like Reltio.
  • Experience using tools such as Workato or other visual pipeline development environment and advantage.
