Experience: 3-5 Years

Focus: Computer Vision, Edge Computing, Embedded Systems

Role Overview:

This is not a web-development role. We need an engineer capable of deploying heavy AI workloads on resource-constrained edge devices. You will be building the brain of the drone, enabling it for autonomous operations in defense scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

Edge AI Deployment: Optimize and deploy computer vision model on embedded platforms like NVIDIA Jetson or Raspberry Pi systems.

Pipeline Development: Build low-latency video and ML pipelines with Gstreamer, OpenCV, and hardware-accelerated decoding.

Autonomy Algorithms: Develop logic for autonomous operations and robotics integration (ROS/ROS2).

Application Development: Create basic C++/Python based tools for internal workflows; fork, modify and extend existing open-source softwares.

System Optimization: Maximize performance under thermal/power limits via quantization, pruning and multi-threading.

Must-Have Skills:

Proficiency in Python and C++.

Good background in Computer Vision (OpenCV) and Deep Learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow).

Experience with Linux (Ubuntu/Debian) environment and shell scripting.

Bonus Skills (The Differentiators):

Familiarity with MAVLink protocol.

Experience with sensor fusion (combining GPS, Optical Flow, and Lidar data).

Previous work on autonomous navigation systems.

Experience with Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET) and mesh networking for UAV swarms.
