Position: Software Engineer – AI Integration (Java / Python)
Location: Gurugram

Position Summary
We are looking for a Product Engineer who thinks beyond code — someone who understands how software translates into real product value for users. You will work on building, scaling, and evolving core product systems, owning features end-to-end — from design to production. This role combines backend engineering excellence with a product mindset, along with exposure to AI-driven capabilities integrated into real-world applications.
Backend Engineering
Your Role Responsibilities and Duties:
- Design, build, and scale backend systems and product features used by real customers
- Own features end-to-end — from requirements to deployment and iteration
- Translate product requirements into technical designs and high-quality implementations
- Build and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and performant under high load
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
- Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and QA to ship impactful features
- Debug production issues and continuously improve system performance
- Contribute to architecture decisions and long-term product roadmap AI Integration (Partial / Good to Have)
AI Integration (Practical, Not Heavy Research)
- Integrate AI/LLM APIs into backend workflows and product features
- Build AI-enabled use cases like automation, recommendations, summarization, or chat flows
- Handle AI outputs in production systems (validation, retries, fallbacks)
- Work with data pipelines or structured/unstructured data supporting AI features
- Collaborate with product teams to identify where AI adds real value
Core Engineering
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Java (Spring Boot) OR Python
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
- Experience building scalable backend systems and APIs
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
AI / GenAI Exposure (Nice To Have, Not Mandatory)
- Basic experience working with LLM APIs
- Understanding of AI integration in applications
- Familiarity with tools like LangChain (optional)
