Software Engineer II forms the backbone of the software development organization. This position requires excellent problem solving and analytical skills in addition to a high level of competency in object-oriented design and programming. Produces commercial software components/services/solutions, execute moderate complexity software engineering assignments when provided high level business requirements and technical design guidelines from an architect or senior engineer with minimal supervision

Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. The roles in this function will cover all primary development activities across all technology functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products and services and to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.

These roles include, but are not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. Primary Responsibilities:

• Basic, structured, standard approach to work

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate degree or equivalent experience
• DevOps experience, Ansible
• Extensive experience with Object Oriented Design Patterns and their application in enterprise software applications
• Extensive experience developing web services
• Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS and SQL syntax
• Knowledge of React, ASP.NET OR Angular
• Knowledge of Github, Git, Jira, Jenkins
• AI first mindset with Github Copilot OR using similar tools exposure for Software development
• Skilled in Java/ .NET, C# technologies (Java/C#, Spring Framework, Hibernate, Webservices, Spring boot)
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities
• Demonstrated ability of developing software components with little guidance
• Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure
• Demonstrated basic aptitude for programming and analytical thinking
• Demonstrated solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to interpret written requirements and technical specifications
• Demonstrated ability to write software code according to published standards and industry best practices
