Your role and responsibilities

In this role, We are looking for software professionals to join our Industrial Automation Digital Organization. The role requires one to lead or be part of a team with extensive experience on Python programming language to build highly scalable, cloud-native applications on the Azure platform. Candidate will be responsible for SQL and Advance SQL development along with Development of data integration modules (ETL/ELT) and should bring solid experience to our team implementing successful development projects

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Understand product features, business workflows, and user journeys, and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases while validating end-to-end flows across systems.
  • Perform functional, integration, and system-level testing for web, API, and data workflows, including defect reporting, retesting, regression execution, and release validation.
  • Contribute to test automation using standard frameworks for UI and API testing, while maintaining reusable test assets and documentation in tools like Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, DevOps, QE) and actively participate in test planning, design reviews, defect triage, and quality assurance throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications for the role:

  • 4-6 years of experience in software testing / quality engineering with a strong understanding of testing concepts, test design techniques, and defect lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience in functional, integration, and regression testing, with the ability to validate complex product workflows and behaviours.
  • Practical exposure to UI and/or API test automation using languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, along with standard automation frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of web and API testing, SQL/database validation, and test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand technical workflows and identify quality gaps.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams in an agile delivery environment.
  • BE/BTech/ME/MTech in relevant fields with preferred exposure to domains like industrial software, IIoT, manufacturing, or energy, along with familiarity in tools such as Azure DevOps, Playwright, CI/CD pipelines, and data pipeline testing.
